IDRAC web interface can provide the virtual console and the log files of the system.

How to access the idrac web interface

URL: https://idrac-address

login admin/passwod (the same password as IPMI tools)

For example: https://rac-dc40-8-24.local

Virtual Console

The best way to access the virtual console is to configure the plugin type to "html5" in the settings instead of either native of Java.. In order to have html5 support, the idrac lifecycle control needs to be update to above 2.60.

OMSA

OMSA provies more information, such as the firmware version.

How to access OMSA

URL https://private_ip:1311

login root/password (the same as the system root password)

For example, https://dc40-8-24.local:1311

WebBrowser to access IDRAC or OMSA

As both IDRAC and OMSA are on the 10.10.[0-3].X private network, so one can launch a web browser (google-chrome or firefox)from the umt3int02-05 to access them.
