Daily

• Check email from users / admins / ticketing system / monitoring scripts
• Check monitoring summary pages
• Check ganglia (MSU servers, MSU T2, CRAC monitoring)
• Check condor on tier 3
• Check OMD

Weekly

• Walk through server room and AC room
• Check disk space on msurxx (syslog server), clean up log files if getting full
• Update desktop machines

Every 2 weeks

• AGLT2 meeting

Monthly

• Check for software updates
  • Condor
  • cvmfs
  • foswiki
  • VMware

Every 1.5 months

• Clean humidifiers

Every 3 Months

• Check for OMSA repo updates

Annual

• Renew/deploy host grid certs (March), coordinated with UM
• Renew VMware license (Jan, should be done by December)
• Generator test (Scheduled by PhyPlant)
• CRAC inspection by PhysPlant
• Turn off humidifier (Summer)
• Turn on humidifier (Fall)
• Audit server room network/power configs, labeling, and cabling

Every 2 years

• Renew/deploy SSL cert for hep.pa.msu.edu (Jan)
