WLCG Accounting for Tier-2 Sites

This page contains some plots showing WLCG Tier-2 accounting results for Tier-2's worldwide. Currently the plots are only available for normalized CPU-hours for ALL WLCG VOs (Alice, ATLAS, CMS and LHCb). Units were 1k SI2K-hours (up to December 2009) and HS06-hours (HEPSPEC06) after. We downloaded (up to March 2011) ( or here (after March 2011) the WLCG accounting data and converted the old kSI2K-hours into HS06-hours to make the plots below. The plots were created by first downloading the WLCG accounting spreadsheets and creating new spreadsheets which sum over all VO activity by site. Note that a site is not a Tier-2 for WLCG. Instead groups of 1 or more sites comprise a Tier-2. This means that a separate grouping/summing needs to take place to determine the final Tier-2 numbers for a specified time period.

Once the final Tier-2 numbers are ready (by month, by quarter, by year and total) the spreadsheet can be exported into a CSV file for input via a ROOT macro which creates the png plots on this page:

Note this plot is the result of summing converted kSI2K units (to HS06 by x3.9) up to December 2009 and HS06 units after.
