This project gathers LSM (Local Site Mover) log entries from our
central SYSLOG-NG system and puts them into a customized database
called "lsm" (in MySQL). We can then query this database to get useful information
regarding job usage of our site storage such as number of requests per node, which storage pools are sources,
transfer rate per node, etc. We've found this very useful to analyse our storage infrastructure for problems.
